What is the working principle of a jack?
Operational principle
There are several types of jacks, including mechanical jacks and hydraulic jacks, and their working principles are also different.
The principle of hydraulic jack:
In a balanced system, the pressure exerted on the smaller piston is relatively small, while the pressure exerted on the larger piston is also relatively large, which can maintain the liquid at rest. So through the transfer of liquid, different pressures can be obtained at different ends, thus achieving the goal of transformation.
The principle of a mechanical jack:
The mechanical jack pulls the handle back and forth, and pulling the claw pushes the ratchet clearance to rotate. The small umbrella gear drives the large umbrella gear, causing the lifting screw to rotate, thereby enabling the lifting sleeve to lift or lower, and achieving the function of lifting tension.
